Wonder

Wonder - R.J. Palacio OVERALL IMPRESSION: This book just makes me happy. Auggie had to overcome so much and he's so strong because of it. This books shows that people can overcome aything. And the face that this is such a young child makes it both heartbreaking and inspiring. This would be a great book to read with a child to help open up a discussion with them about getting to know someone without judging them based on their outward appearance.

CHARACTERS: Auggie is blessed with a wonderful family that support him through everything. And Auggie himself is so sweet. I like the character of Jack quite a bit. He goes through a ton of character development throughout this book.

COVER: I like the cover a lot. The blue is such a gorgeous color! I also really like the cover underneath the dust jacket.
